Sadie – Athelstan Shunras-Leibling
Sadie came from my friend Pina in August 2019, and is a chocolate bicolour. She is a first cousin to Tia – Pan is her paternal grandfather, and Tia’s maternal grandfather. When I got her she settled in very quickly with Tia, Basil & Max, to the point at which Tia was mothering her. She loved the fuss and attention! She is much more grown up now but is still great pals with Tia as the photo shows.
Tia – Shunra Bronze-Madonna
Tia is Aoife’s daughter and as a kitten was incredibly confident and outgoing – everyone noticed when they visited to see her litter mates. She is a bit more reserved now she’s an adult.
She had one litter by Basil in November 2017, and the photo shows her with her kittens. She frequently has a lovely grumpy expression. The light in this photo is a bit cold, but it still shows she is a nice warm colour and not too dark.
From the Past
Eadlin – GRCH Shunra Fawntasia
Eadlin is Lola’s daughter and as her name suggests she is a Fawn, and has had an excellent show career as a kitten and as an adult. She is one of very few Fawn Orientals who are a GCCF Grand Champion (possibly the 3rd), and three IGrCcs and four Reserve IGrCcs. She had some lovely kittens in 2015 and was an excellent mother – she was looking for them for several days after the last one left, poor girl,. Very sadly I lost her in February 2019.
Aoife – Shunra Phawntasm
Aoife is another of Lola’s daughters and is also a Fawn. She is very shy so hasn’t been shown, but she was an excellent mother and had lovely kittens in 2015 and again in 2016 who were much more outgoing than she is. This photo doesn’t do her coat & eye colour justice.
Aoife was neutered and rehomed to Lindsey in July 2016.
Lola – Kyomi Shunra Primadonna
My foundation queen was Lola, a Blue Oriental. Sue Simpson has very kindly let me have her. She carried Siamese and cinnamon, and was born on the 21st March 2012.
Lola was neutered and rehomed to Sheila in July 2014.
Here are some photos of her as a kitten.
