Lola (Blue)

This is a picture of them all in the last place Lola moved them to, before I moved them all to a spare bedroom.  You can see all the kittens in this photo.

Lola’s kittens are three weeks old today, and where on earth did that time go to?  She is still being very protective, and I’ve moved her into a room on her own with them where she can’t put them into drawers where they can’t start to toddle.  She’s not that amused but she’s still happily

Lola came looking for some food so while she ate I took my camera in.  

Today they are 2 weeks old, and seem to be doing very well. I’ve taken a set of photos on the scales and they are all gaining and growing – from an average of 83g 2 weeks ago they are now an average of 242g, so have almost tripled their birth weights. I’ve also taken

Had a quick look today and I’m fairly sure the large fawn is a girl and all the rest are boys.  Don’t worry, I won’t be posting the evidence here!

I’ve managed to get some more photos by leaving the SLR in the bedroom, and shutting Lola out when she went to eat.  The kittens all look and feel well and I’ll weigh them and do separate photos on Tuesday as it’s their 2 week birthday.  Their eyes are all open and their ears are

This morning Lola was rather too interested in the laundry basket, so I moved it into a shut room.  I had some PC work to do and when I went back in to check them they were gone from the ‘pouch’! My neighbour came round to fix my side gate – he has replaced the rotten bit

It’s a week since Lola had her kittens and they are continuing well, with a couple having their eyes open and a couple more starting to open their eyes.  Weight gain has slowed a little possibly due to the hot weather but taken as a group they have doubled their birth weights. I’m still unsure
