Lola started delivering her second litter just after midnight on the 15th May, and by 4am there were 6 kittens. I weighed them later in the day and they were from 90g to 110g – big kittens for an Oriental.
She had 3 blacks, 1 blue, 1 cinnamon and 1 fawn. Not entirely sure on sexes, think the fawn is a girl (so might be staying) and ended up thinking the boy fairy had visited and the rest were boys. I’ll be weighing them again this afternoon, will check again then.
When the time comes to register them the pedigree names for those leaving will all start with ‘B’.
Lola delivered with almost no help, cleaned them all, dealt with all the placentas, and has plenty of milk and a good appetite. She can slink now instead of waddlee, and clean herself all over again. It must be bliss for her after the last couple of weeks!
I’ll be posting updates here, plus I run an email list with extra photos. If you want adding to that please contact me.
All kittens will be GCCF registered, vaccinated, wormed, chipped & neutered.
