Weighed them all again this afternoon and the smallest kitten is 100g now which is really good. In all they have put on almost 50% of their birth weight so are on course to double it by a week old. I am pretty sure the smaller fawn is a boy, and the larger fawn and the cinnamon are girls, but it’s not always easy to get it right on tiny kittens…
Lola is being a wonderful mum, very protective and still looks worried as soon as they squeak when I weigh them. However she had a brief trot round the rest of the house earlier this evening (Minnie was shut in my bedroom) and greeted Max & Benny quite happily. I showed them one of the kittens when she was in the garden and they were terrified!
